TRIFLOW last to leave at power plant

TRIFLOW... the last to leave the power plant after a hard day's work.

Trusted Partner at Power Plant Sites & EPC New Power

TRIFLOW CORP is a recognized leader of automated and manual isolation and control valves used in power and energy systems to manage flow, ensure safety and facilitate maintenance in critical high-pressure and high-temperature power generation applications.

Some of our Power Generation experience includes…

Hot and cold reheat automated & manual isolation valves 1 inch to 30 inch ASME B16.34 managing the exhaust steam from the high pressure turbines for reheat in generating megawatts

Critical turbine main steam isolation Y-globe or ball valves—main steam isolation valves (MSIV) to emergency shutoff valves (ESV)—and essential backflow protection turbine bypass valve (TDCV) check valves to ensure safe and efficient turbine operation

Can be the most critical severe service control valve to regulate steam pressure and ensure optimal turbine performance, including quick responses to load changes, minimizing energy losses

Desuperheater and attemperator control and isolation valves that regulate the temperature of superheated steam by introducing water into the steam flow, effectively condensing some of the steam to reduce its temperature

Boiler feed recirculation isolation and control valves, sensors, controllers and instrumentation in steam boilers to protect boiler feed pump and to ensure efficient water management and maintain stability of the steam generation process

Bypass control valves and manual & automated isolation valves to regulate flow around a primary system component, such as a pump, a critical large control valve or heat exchanger, to help maintain system pressure, facilitate temperature, optimizing flow rates

Manual and automated over & under isolation ball valves to manage water drainage safely and effectively. This is critical to drain isolation valves above or below the valve seat when the valve is closed, especially during maintenance, and to prevent pressure build-up and ensure no fluid remains so to protect equipment.

Automated and manual bottom ash isolation and control valves from coal-fired power controls flow of ash from combustion chamber to disposal, prevent backflow, controls dust emissions

Automated and manual flexible rubber sleeve pinch valves, diaphragm valves and alloy gate knife valves (KGVs) used to remove sulfur dioxide from exhaust gases, control emissions

Large MOV and manual isolation AWWA-certified butterfly valves or alloy triple offset valves (TOVs) that isolate and control flow to regulate temperature and maintain efficiency in power plants, process plants, and district energy systems

Air cooled condenser (ACCs) require robust cooling where water is a scarcity and have environmental concerns. In new power plants, the system involves large diameter fabricated motor-operated BW BFVs for isolation of low pressure steam and vacuum. Sizes can be up to 132 inch involving three (3) to nine (9) valves depending on the site megawatts.

Ball valves or globe valves in high-pressure chemical feed isolation, such as water treatment agents into steam systems or boilers

Automated high pressure ball valves in high pressure sky vents along with an upstream block valve and automated triple offset butterfly valves for sky vents for venting gases to the atmosphere in storage tanks, boilers, and other pressure vessels to manage pressure fluctuations. Pilot-operated relief valves to relieve excess pressure in high-pressure steam systems where safety and regulatory compliance is mandatory.
